Acclaimed Actor/Activist, Thomas Sadoski, Joins Outspoken Speakers!
/Seasoned actor Thomas Sadoski knows the power of storytelling. He’s not only using his craft to elevate the stories of those unable to speak for themselves as a passionate defender of international human rights efforts in war-torn countries, but also sharing with audiences how they, too, can craft stories through enhanced communication techniques only usually learned through intense performance training like his.
Known for his roles in HBO’s Golden Globe-nominated Aaron Sorkin series The Newsroom and as the star in the hit CBS comedy Life in Pieces, Thomas has shared the big and small screen with some of the biggest names in the biz. Thomas was last seen in the JD Dillard-directed film Devotion, the true story of U.S. Navy fighter pilots Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner, in which he stars opposite Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell. He also stars opposite Patricia Clarkson in the upcoming film Lilly, the story of the life of pay equity activist Lilly Ledbetter, in which he plays Jon Goldfarb, the civil rights attorney who backed Ledbetter all the way to the Supreme Court in her compensation battle.
Most importantly, he is the Founding Ambassador of the award-winning International aid organization War Child USA and sits on the board of the non-profit organizations INARA, and Refugees International, all of which work to support women and children affected by gender-based violence and war. He also serves on the International Advisory Committee for the human rights organization Fortify Rights. His work with refugees and human rights issues both on the ground in war zones and in the halls of Congress has raised millions of dollars and directly helped hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
