Boosting growth & sales: How on-camera training can level-up your business

Why does on-camera training matter? Communication is communication, right?

You might be asking yourself why this matters for you, whether or not you're in a position of power or a public-facing job, but the truth is your work does not always speak for itself. Not only your experience but also your age can affect your comfort level when the opportunity presents itself to put yourself on the screen and communicate important information.

According to the Wyzowl report on video marketing statistics for 2022, video continues to be used by an overwhelming majority of businesses, with 86% using video as a primary tool. Further, 92% of professional marketers report that video is a key component of their marketing strategies. But while video is often important for businesses and organizations who want to amp up their social media presence, is there value and a true return on the investment? Absolutely. In fact, according to the report, 94% of marketers say video has helped them increase consumers’ understanding of their product or service, 86% said video helps them generate leads, and 81% said video has helped them directly increase sales.

According to Hubspot, the rise of video consumption is here to stay, with nearly nine out of ten reporting that they’d like to see more videos from brands. “Video looks set to continue its ten-year overnight success story into the coming decade,” they explain. “These stats paint a picture of a media type that's almost universally popular among both marketers and their audiences, helping achieve a number of incredibly important goals.”

With all that said, you may be thinking: We know video is a powerful tool, but where do I get started? How can I elevate my on-camera skills?
